Teeth Whitening FAQs
Here you’ll find answers to common questions about our treatments, mobile service, travel and payments — so you can book with confidence.
Safety & Suitability
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes — our professional whitening treatments are completely safe when performed by our trained technicians.
We use a premium, Australian-sourced whitening gel containing 6% hydrogen peroxide, meeting all Australian cosmetic standards for safety and effectiveness.
The treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and carefully balanced to brighten your smile while protecting your enamel and minimising
sensitivity.
Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?
Most people are excellent candidates for whitening, though results can vary depending on your teeth and lifestyle.
For safety reasons, it’s not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 16, or experiencing active dental issues such as
cavities, gum disease, or heightened sensitivity.
If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to chat and help you decide whether whitening is the right fit for you.
Can I have teeth whitening if I have a pacemaker?
Yes — clients with pacemakers can safely receive teeth whitening.
However, because our machines use an ultrasonic function, please let
us know before your appointment so we can switch this feature off.
This is simply a health and safety precaution to ensure your treatment is carried out safely and comfortably.
Can I have teeth whitening if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
For safety reasons, we don’t recommend cosmetic teeth whitening during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Your health and wellbeing come first, so we suggest waiting until after this period before booking your treatment.
If you have any questions or would like to plan ahead for a future appointment, our team will be happy to guide you.
Should teeth whitening be done by a dentist?
Teeth whitening doesn’t need to be performed by a dentist — it just needs to be done by trained, qualified professionals using safe, regulated products.
Our technicians follow Australian cosmetic standards and use high-quality whitening systems designed to protect your enamel and gums while delivering professional, consistent results.
Is teeth whitening painful?
No — teeth whitening is a gentle, non-invasive process and is generally pain-free.
A small number of clients may experience mild sensitivity during or shortly after treatment, but it’s temporary and usually fades within a day or two.
Does teeth whitening cause sensitivity?
Most clients don’t experience any sensitivity, but for those who do, it’s typically mild and temporary — usually resolving within a day or two.
Our treatments are carefully formulated and paired with advanced LED and ultrasonic technology to minimise sensitivity while protecting your enamel and achieving beautifully even results.
Can I get my teeth whitened if I have crowns or veneers?
Whitening treatments only affect natural teeth, so crowns, veneers, and fillings won’t lighten in colour.
We can still safely whiten your natural teeth to enhance your overall smile, and if needed, discuss options to update or colour-match your existing dental work for a flawless, even finish.
Results & Process
What results can I expect?
Most clients notice a brighter, whiter smile immediately after their first session — often lightening by up to 10–16 shades.
Results can vary depending on your starting shade, enamel, and lifestyle, but every treatment leaves your teeth looking naturally
brighter and refreshed. With the right aftercare, your results will last beautifully.
How long will my teeth whitening results last?
Your results will typically last between 6 and 12 months, depending on your lifestyle and daily habits.
Drinks like coffee, tea, and red wine — or habits such as smoking — can gradually dull your shade over time.
With consistent oral care and the occasional top-up, you can enjoy your brighter smile for much longer.
How often can I get my teeth whitened?
Most clients maintain their results with a top-up treatment every 6 to 12 months, depending on their lifestyle and desired shade.
If you regularly drink coffee, tea, or red wine — or simply prefer to stay at your brightest — you may choose to whiten a little more often.
Our team can recommend the ideal schedule to keep your smile looking its best without causing unnecessary sensitivity.
Experience & Preparation
Where can I receive my treatment?
We’re a fully mobile teeth whitening service — bringing professional, salon-quality treatments directly to you.
Whether it’s in the comfort of your home, at your workplace, or another convenient location, our technicians arrive with everything needed to deliver a safe, professional, and beautifully bright result —
without you having to travel anywhere.
What if I live outside the 30 km radius of Melbourne’s CBD?
We provide mobile teeth whitening across Melbourne — covering all suburbs within a 30 km radius, and many within 40 km at no
extra cost.
For locations beyond this range, a small travel fee may apply depending on your distance and group size.
If you’re unsure, simply contact our team — we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
For the best results, we recommend ideally brushing your teeth about an hour before your treatment and avoiding heavily pigmented food or drinks — such as coffee, tea, red wine, or soft drinks — beforehand.
Please let us know in advance if you have any dental concerns or sensitivity so our team can tailor your treatment for comfort.
Other than that, simply relax — we’ll bring everything needed to create a smooth, professional experience right from your space.
Do I need to do anything after my treatment?
After your whitening treatment, we recommend drinking plenty of water and avoiding dark-coloured food and drinks — such as coffee, tea, red wine, and coloured sauces — for the next 2–3 days to protect your results.
You’ll be following what’s known as a “white diet”, which simply means choosing lighter-coloured foods during this time to maintain your new brightness.
Everything will be explained clearly by your technician at the end of your treatment, so you’ll know exactly what to do.
How soon can I eat or drink after whitening?
You can drink water straight after your treatment — in fact, we recommend plenty of it to stay hydrated and fresh.
For eating, it’s best to wait around 2–3 hours before your next meal.
To protect your new results, avoid dark-coloured foods and drinks — like coffee, tea, red wine, and coloured sauces — for the next 2–3 days. This helps keep your smile bright and your results lasting longer.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
We completely understand that plans can change.
If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, your $50 deposit will simply roll over to your new appointment — no loss at all.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your booking will result in the loss of the deposit, as short notice makes it difficult to fill that
time slot.
