Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question before your appointment? We’ve answered the most common questions about our professional mobile teeth whitening treatments, results, sensitivity, aftercare, and travel areas so you can book with confidence.
Safety & Suitability
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes — our professional whitening treatments are safe when performed by our trained technicians.
We use a premium, Australian-sourced gel containing 6% hydrogen peroxide, meeting all Australian safety standards.
The treatment is gentle, non-invasive, and carefully balanced to brighten your smile while protecting your enamel and minimising sensitivity.
Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?
Most people are excellent candidates for professional teeth whitening, though results vary depending on your teeth and lifestyle.
Professional whitening works best on natural tooth enamel and isn't suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 16, or have active dental issues like cavities or gum disease. If you have crowns or veneers, whitening won't affect them, but we'll brighten your surrounding natural teeth. Unsure if it's right for you? Contact us our team is happy to help. Can I have teeth whitening if I have a pacemaker?
Yes -clients with pacemakers can safely receive our professional whitening treatments.
Our Beyond 2 machine includes an ultrasonic function. If you have a pacemaker, simply let us know before your appointment so we can switch this feature off. This is a standard safety precaution we take to ensure your treatment is safe and comfortable. Book your professional teeth whitening appointment in Melbourne today.
Can I have teeth whitening if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
For safety reasons, we do not recommend cosmetic teeth whitening during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Your health and wellbeing come first, so we suggest waiting until after this period before booking your treatment. If you have any questions or would like to plan ahead for a future appointment, our team is happy to guide you. Book your professional teeth whitening in Melbourne when the time is right for you.
Does teeth whitening cause sensitivity?
While some clients may experience mild, temporary sensitivity, our professional formula is specifically balanced to minimise this.
Any minor sensitivity usually subsides within 24 hours. We use high-quality, compliant gels that meet strict safety standards, ensuring a gentle treatment that protects your enamel. Our team provides expert aftercare advice to help you maintain a bright, comfortable smile. Book your professional teeth whitening in Melbourne today.
Can I get my teeth whitened if I have crowns or veneers?
Yes - however, please note that whitening treatments only affect natural tooth enamel.
While our professional formula will not lighten crowns, veneers, or composite fillings, it is perfectly safe to perform. During your session, we will expertly whiten your surrounding natural teeth to brighten your overall smile and create a more flawless, even-toned result. Results & Process
How white can my teeth get?
Most clients notice a brighter, whiter smile immediately after their first session — often lightening by 10 to 16 shades.
Results can vary depending on your starting shade, enamel, and lifestyle, but every treatment is designed to leave your teeth looking naturally refreshed. We use a professional shade guide to track your precise transformation from start to finish.
How long will my teeth whitening results last?
On average, your bright results will last between 6 to 12 months.
Longevity depends largely on your lifestyle and daily habits. Drinks like coffee, tea, and red wine — or habits such as smoking — can gradually dull your shade over time. To maintain your glow, we recommend consistent oral care and using your aftercare gift pack.
How often should I whiten my teeth?
We recommend a professional top-up session every 6 to 12 months to maintain your peak brightness.
To protect your enamel and ensure the health of your smile, we suggest waiting at least 6 months between full treatments. If you have a special event coming up sooner, we can advise on the best timing for a quick refresh session.
Is mobile teeth whitening as effective as a dentist?
Professional mobile teeth whitening delivers real, visible results without the dental clinic price tag or the commute. Teeth Whitening Melbourne uses premium, Australian-compliant whitening gels applied by trained technicians who tailor every treatment to your teeth. Most clients lighten by 10 to 16 shades in a single session, in the comfort of their own home, workplace, or event. For cosmetic whitening, the results speak for themselves.

Experience & Preparation
Where can I have my treatment done?
We’re a fully mobile teeth whitening service — bringing professional, salon-quality treatments directly to you.
Whether it’s in the comfort of your home, at your workplace, or another convenient location, our technicians arrive with everything needed to deliver a safe, professional, and beautifully bright result.
Do you travel outside Melbourne’s CBD?
We provide mobile teeth whitening across Melbourne — covering suburbs within a 30 km radius, and many within 40 km at no extra cost.
For locations beyond this range, a small travel fee may apply depending on your distance and group size. If you’re unsure, simply contact our team — we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
For the best results, we recommend brushing your teeth about an hour before your session.
It’s also best to avoid heavily pigmented food or drinks — such as coffee, tea, red wine, or soft drinks — beforehand. Please let us know in advance if you have any dental concerns or sensitivity so we can tailor your treatment for maximum comfort.
Do I need to do anything after my treatment?
To protect your results, we recommend following a "white diet" for the next 48 to 72 hours.
This simply means choosing lighter-coloured foods and drinking plenty of water while avoiding dark liquids like coffee, tea, or red wine. Your technician will explain everything clearly at the end of your treatment and provide you with an aftercare guide so you know exactly what to do.
How soon can I eat or drink after whitening?
You can drink water immediately after your treatment — in fact, we recommend plenty of it to stay hydrated.
For eating, it is best to wait at least 2 to 3 hours before your next meal. To ensure your results last, continue to avoid dark-coloured foods and drinks for the first few days while your enamel pores close and lock in your new shade.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
We completely understand that plans can change and are happy to accommodate reschedules with 24 hours' notice.
If you provide at least 24 hours' notice, your $50 deposit will simply roll over to your new appointment — no loss at all. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of your booking will result in the loss of the deposit, as short notice makes it difficult to fill that dedicated time slot.
